ROOTED IN THE QURAN + SUNNAH
Parenting by Divine Design

Your parenting home for the first 12 years.

I’ll teach you how to form the foundations during the early years so you can raise a strong, grounded, unapologetically Muslim child without losing yourself in the process.

As seen in Muslim Matters, Halal Parenting and Ayeinaofficial, followed by five-star reviews from FEF and Parenting by Divine Design parents

You don’t start raising a strong, unapologetic Muslim child at 15.

You start forming them in the early years.

The goal isn’t to spend the next 18 years managing your child. It’s to spend the early years forming the foundations that eventually help them lead themselves.

You are building their faith, identity, character, habits, relationship with Allah, relationship with you, and the way they understand themselves and the world around them.

When those foundations are clear, you do not have to parent every new situation from scratch. You have a direction to return to.

Do less. Lead better.
THE REAL PROBLEM

The problem is not that you don't have more information.

You are probably already reading, listening, researching, correcting, teaching, worrying, making du'a, and trying to make the best decisions you can for your child.

The problem is that most parents are parenting one situation at a time.

What do I do about screens?
What do I say about Halloween?
How do I get her to pray?
What consequence should I give?
How do I make him proud to be Muslim?
How do I stop yelling?

Each answer becomes another piece of information to remember. Another strategy. Another voice in your head.

Your child does not need 100 disconnected parenting answers.

They need you to understand the foundations underneath all of them.

Because once you know what you are forming in the first 12 years, the thousands of little parenting decisions become much easier to make.

That is what Parenting by Divine Design teaches you.

Picture this instead

Imagine knowing what you are doing.

Your 6-year-old asks why her friends celebrate something you do not, and you know how to answer her.

Your 8-year-old pushes against a boundary, and you do not immediately wonder whether you are being too strict.

Your child begins salah, and you understand what this stage is actually for instead of expecting the finished habit overnight.

Your child starts approaching puberty, and you know how to prepare them before the physical, emotional, and religious changes arrive instead of scrambling once they are already in it.

Something concerning appears at school, online, or in the culture and instead of running to Instagram asking, “What do Muslim parents do about this?” you know how to think it through.

You know your principles. You understand your child. You know what your family stands for.

And your children are growing up inside that certainty.

Stories from inside PBDD

Different families. Different challenges. Stronger foundations.

PBDD was previously known as Forming Early Foundations (FEF).

Parent Story

When the “why” questions started getting harder.

When Asma's 7-year-old asked her why they don't celebrate Halloween, she froze.

She wanted to answer in a way that protected her daughter's fitrah and identity, but every explanation she tried felt clunky, defensive, or guilt-inducing.

“I didn't want my child to feel like being Muslim meant always saying ‘no.’ But I also didn't know how to explain our deen in a way she could actually understand.”

For months, she avoided the questions, hoping her daughter wouldn't notice. But the questions only got harder:

  • “Why can't I get Christmas presents like my friends?”
  • “Why can't we decorate our house like theirs?”
  • “Why can't I just be like them?”

Asma joined Forming Early Foundations (FEF) out of desperation, hoping to find better words.

“I didn't expect what I found. FEF didn't just give me answers. It gave me a framework to explain Islam in a way that's positive, loving, and connected to Allah, not defensive or fear-based.”

Now, instead of panicking when her daughter asks why, Asma smiles. She knows exactly how to explain deen with confidence and simplicity. Her daughter doesn't feel deprived anymore. She feels proud.

“I didn't realize how much my uncertainty was shaping her identity. Now, alhamdulillah, she understands what we believe, and why, without me feeling like the ‘fun police.’ That's priceless.”

Stories are based on member experiences shared with The Good Child. Some identifying details may be summarized or anonymized.

THE PBDD FRAMEWORK

We build the foundations in 3 places.

You. Your child. Your home.

01

You

Who you are matters. Your education, obligations, habits, reactions, strengths, weak spots, expectations, and the way you lead.

Become more skilled and intentional instead of rebuilding your parenting every time a new problem appears.

02

Your Child

Understand their development, temperament, behavior, needs, emotional world, and Islamic identity.

Know what the child in front of you needs now, not what an imaginary “ideal child” should need.

03

Your Home

Your home is the third parent. Build the values, routines, boundaries, relationships, Islamic habits, and culture your child grows inside.

Raising a strong Muslim child is not one lesson. It is the life you build around them.

Eman portrait
WHY LEARN THIS FROM ME?

Salam, I’m Eman.

I’m a mom of five, all 13 and under, with a BAsc (Honours) degree in Child Studies and Early Education.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked with children and families as a teacher, early interventionist, resource consultant, and early years program supervisor. Today, I’m raising and home educating my own children while bringing that field experience and expertise to Muslim families online.

I don’t teach you to copy another family or follow one parenting style perfectly. I teach you to understand yourself, your child, and your home, then use strong developmental and Islamic foundations to make decisions that fit the family Allah gave you, so you can fulfil your obligations in the best way without doing more or adding more overwhelm.

ONE PLACE. THREE LAYERS OF SUPPORT.

You do not need more random parenting advice. You need a reliable place to return to as your family grows.

01

Parent Education

Learn the parenting skills and foundations you need through the first 12 years.

02

Child Education

Your child gets age-appropriate Islamic education for ages 5–12, including core Islamic subjects and guidance on the mainstream culture they actually encounter.

03

Support While You Apply It

Bring real family situations into the program so you can work out what applies to your child and your home.

You learn. Your child learns. You get support while you put it into practice.

PBDD is not built from random parenting trends. It brings together child development, parent education, and Islamic learning so you can build your family on foundations you actually understand and trust.
THE OUTCOME

We are not trying to build a perfectly behaved child.

We are building a child with strong roots.

Knows who they are
Feels safe coming to you
Understands right from wrong
Knows what their family stands for
Feels proud to be Muslim
Can hear “no” without believing your relationship is broken
Learns to handle emotion, disappointment, responsibility, and relationships
Can enter the world without losing themselves to belong

And for you?

You stop rebuilding your parenting every time something new happens. You know what you are working toward as a leader, and you are equipped and supported during the most formative years.

“It gave me a game plan of how to approach my 5-year-old… and I am not stressed out about it.”

FAQ

Before you join

Is this another course I have to finish?

No. You do not need to binge PBDD or complete a giant checklist. Learn the foundations, use them in real life, and return to the program as your child and family grow.

What ages is PBDD for?

PBDD is designed for Muslim parents raising children from birth through age 12. Child education is designed for ages 5–12.

How long do I have access to the program?

You will have access for the lifetime of the program, with all future updates and iterations included free of charge.

What if I already know a lot about parenting?

That is okay. PBDD helps you understand which foundations matter, how they fit together, and how to use them in your family with discernment.

What if I am very busy?

You do not need hours every day or to sit in front of a screen. Many lessons can be taken on the go via podcast-style audio. The goal is not to add more to your life. It is to make the parenting you are already doing more intentional.

THE EARLY YEARS ARE ALREADY HAPPENING

You do not raise a strong unapologetic Muslim 15-year-old at 15.

Their identity. Their confidence. Their character. Their relationship with Allah. Their relationship with you. Their ability to stand in the world without losing themselves.

You are building those things now.
